    Welcome to the Rochford Methodist Church website.

    About us

    We are a traditional Methodist Church but with a modern outlook and we are willing to try different types of worship.

    Our Sunday service starts about 10.55am with a brief 'pre-service' meditation.

    We have occasional 'special' afternoon or evening services, so do check our Calendar and Sunday Services Links above to confirm whether or not a service is taking place.

    We are part of the Southend and Leigh Circuit of the Methodist Church, which is part of Bedfordshire, Essex and Hertfordshire District.

    Our Mission Statement is:

    We are all here to:

     - worship God and spread His love;
     - welcome everyone into our church family;
     - serve the community in the name of Jesus Christ.

    HARP - Homeless Action Resource Project

    HARP is a charity in Southend that supports homeless people. We support them by sending money and by donating food, kitchen equipment and personal items so that HARP can make up food parcels and starter packs for those moving into permanent accommodation. Click on the logo to find out more about them, or go via our Links page.
